The brief
The EEMEA Breast and Gynecological Malignancies Master Class ran in Cairo on 28 and 29 June 2024, bringing oncology specialists from across the region together for two days of lectures, case discussions and faculty panels.
Medical education sets a different technical standard from a corporate conference. Imaging and data slides have to be legible from every seat, faculty change at every session, and the room has to look calm and professional for two full days.
What the event demanded
The slide is the content
Survival curves and scan images lose meaning if the screen washes them out. Screen brightness, placement and room lighting were set so the data read clearly from the back tables.
Faculty rotate constantly
A master class has many speakers, each with their own deck. Presentations are collected, checked and queued before each session so nobody starts with a file problem.
Two days, same standard
Day two has to run as cleanly as day one. The room is reset overnight and every system checked before delegates return.

Regional programmes, Cairo logistics
Cairo is a natural meeting point for a programme that draws clinicians from three regions, with direct flights from much of the EEMEA area. The production side works best when the AV, the branding and the crew all come from one local team that can hold the room for the full two days.
