The brief
The EEMEA Uro-Onco Academy brought urologic oncology specialists to Cairo in 2023 for an intensive programme of lectures and case-based learning.
An academy format runs over several days in a focused room. The technical setup has to protect clinical image quality and stay reliable from the first session to the last.
What the event demanded
Imaging must stay accurate
Scans and pathology images lose detail through poor screens or wrong settings. Display choice and calibration were planned around the clinical content.
Several days, one standard
A multi-day programme needs spares on site and daily checks, so a fault on day three is solved in minutes.
A small room with high expectations
Specialist faculty and delegates expect every detail to be right, from microphone levels to slide timing.

Spares on site, not in the warehouse
Cairo traffic makes a return trip to the warehouse slow. For multi-day programmes we keep spares in the venue, so a replacement is minutes away.
