P2.5 (2.5mm pixel pitch) is appropriate for main screens at viewing distances from 4 metres; P3.9 suits distances from 6 metres; P4.8 and above for large scenic backgrounds viewed from 8+ metres. Large-format projection remains the preferred choice for conference sessions where the room needs to remain bright for note-taking and networking, or where the content is primarily text and data rather than video and graphics. Stage height, width, and depth must be specified in relation to the furthest seated delegate: a simple geometry check ensures all delegates can see the stage surface without the first row blocking the view of delegates behind. For large venues, thrust or T-shaped staging configurations improve delegate sight lines significantly.

Hybrid events — combining physical attendees with remote participants watching a live stream — have become a standard expectation rather than a premium add-on. A production-quality live stream requires: multi-camera coverage (typically 3–5 cameras for a conference stage: wide shot, close-up on speaker, audience reaction shot, and presenter screen capture); a vision mixer (Roland V-Series or Blackmagic ATEM for compact setups; full broadcast switchers for complex productions); a graphics system for lower-thirds, name titles, and production branding; a broadcast audio mix separate from the room mix; encoding hardware or software; and reliable internet uplinks.

Internet uplink capacity is the critical variable. Production-quality streaming at 1080p60 requires 6–10 Mbps stable uplink; 4K streaming doubles this. Hotel internet connections in Egyptian five-star properties typically offer 20–100 Mbps shared bandwidth — adequate for standard streams, but vulnerable to contention from other guests. For important streams, a dedicated line leased from a telecom provider (Telecom Egypt, Orange Egypt, or Vodafone Egypt) with a guaranteed Service Level Agreement is strongly recommended. International production equipment requiring different voltages or connector formats needs step-down transformers or adapter cables — this should be confirmed at venue inspection, not on build day.

Power draw calculations must be completed before each event, accounting for: LED wall consumption (typically 400–800W per square metre at maximum brightness), lighting rig (moving heads draw 300–600W each when striking), audio amplifier racks (PA systems for 500-person rooms typically draw 3–8kW), and all ancillary equipment. Over-drawing venue circuits causes breaker trips at the worst possible moment; under-specifying power distribution creates fire risk. A production electrician should review all power plans before build commences.

Generator backup is standard for significant productions in Egypt. Most five-star hotel properties have automatic transfer switchgear (ATS) that switches to diesel generator within 8–15 seconds of mains failure — adequate for most applications but problematic for live streaming (stream drops) and sensitive audio (click and noise from transfer).
